The artists from Lost Voices are at it again, keeping alive their mission of bringing creativity, self respect and personal growth to incarcerated and at-risk youth in Michigan. Mike Ball and his dedicated band of singer/songwriters are putting on the Fall 2013 Concert for Lost Voices to raise the cash necessary to reach out to these troubled young people.
This year’s Concert will feature Josh White, Jr.; Kitty Donohoe; Reverend Robert Jones; Peter Madcat Ruth; Annie & Rod Capps, and Jen Cass. As always, the MC for the evening will be singer/songwriter and Erma Bombeck Award-winning syndicated humorist (and Lost Voices Founder) Mike Ball.
The Concert will take place in the Towsley Auditorium at Washtenaw Community College on Saturday, November 23 at 6:00 PM. Since the first Concert for Lost Voices in 2007, this has become one of the most exciting entertainment events of the year. Past Concerts have included performances by former Silver Bullet Band drummer Charlie Allen Martin, Matt Watroba, Mustard's Retreat, Salem Witchcraft, Shari Kane & Dave Steele, bluegrass prodigies Cats & The Fiddler, and other fine performers.
Beyond the incredible entertainment value of the evening, Lost Voices invites the community, including students and interested people from all walks of life, to come and hear about the amazing work they are doing in the youth centers of Michigan. These great musicians will make you laugh, cry and wonder at the talent that is locked away in the hearts of the kids they have worked with in the Lost Voices programs.
And, of course, they need you to provide the critical financial support that lets them do this important work. Tickets are available online at lostvoices11-23-13.brownpapertickets.com/.
