Before retiring in 2016, for over 30 years Tim provided services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in Oakland and Macomb Counties. He was the Executive Director of Good Neighbors, Inc., a residential service provider, and later served as the Financial Director of North Oakland Residential Services. His career spans from the deinstitutionalization movement in the 80’s to today where everyone with a developmental disability resides in their own home or with their family being supported by dedicated caregivers, living full and rich lives.
Tim became aware of the good works of Lost Voices when he met Mike Ball at an Ark event. Tim has always thought that music heals and provides peace and hope, so he was excited then (and still today) to help bring the power of music to help those that are suffering from trauma in all its forms.
During three years on the Lost Voices Board of Directors, Tim served as President and also assisted in growing revenue, improving financial practices, and planning for the future.
